Blues Cruises
Diane Michel talked
about silent auctions on Blues Cruises.
Everyone needs to find contributors to donate items. Anything sellable will be accepted. Does not have to be
“blues-related”.
Silent bids will be accepted until
boat turns around (halfway point).
Michele Mapstone will be heading up silent
auction activities.
Harmonicas will be bought with some
of the money for the Blues in the Schools Program
A suggestion was made to buy some
basketballs and have the Vols/Lady Vols sign them.

Diane talked about Tribe One – a non
profit group interested in partnering with BITS.
Diane will be setting up a meeting
with them this coming week. They accomodate approximately 50 inner
city kids in Grades 3-8 in their summer program.

sponsored competition is July 30, but will be flexible to accomodate
more bands.

All acts must be members (at least one per band)
